DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 24 (MExN): The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has urged the Nagaland Chief Minister to settle the issue of the Kohima Science College, Jotsoma land encroachment at the earliest.
A letter of appeal from the ANCSU recalled that the Chief Minister’s Office on August 15, 2018 had directed the Kohima district administration to bring out a survey report on the land encroachment issue within six weeks, which accordingly was prepared and submitted within the stipulated time frame to the state government.
However, despite a month after the submission of the survey report by the Kohima district administration, the state government was yet to give any directive on the same, the ANCSU stated.
In this connection, the ANCSU has appealed the Chief Minister to take serious consideration on the issue and give necessary directives to the district administration for early settlement of the issue.
It also expressed optimism that the state government will not shy away from delivering justice to the students’ community without any delay tactics.
