Shamator holds first DPDB meeting

Shamator, June 20 (MExN): Shamator District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) conducted its monthly meeting under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman, DPDB, Y Chingyak Konyak at DC Office Conference Hall, Shamator on June 20.

Addressing the meeting, DC Shamator said “Shamator being a new district has lots of work to be done and everyone's contributions, suggestions, and efforts are required for the upliftment of the district.” The DC requested all the HoOs to be in the station to give services to the public, stated a DIPR report. 

The meeting discussed various agendas including the creation of the District Cultural Office, District Planning Office, and Assistant Registrar of Co-Operative Society at Shamator were forwarded to the Government. The members also discussed for construction of Government Primary Schools (GPS) at newly recognized Villages under Shamator District at seven Villages namely, Kiusowongto, Losolo, Moyit, Thuyang, Lunthur, Kenuwong, Tsuthu, and forwarded to the Government.

The meeting discussed for transfer of six villages under the Kiphire district RD Block to Shamator district RD block, namely, Pungrungru, Huhdangru, Tsuthu, Anatongre, Maihpok, Nutsu, and discussed for Registration of Tikhir Students Union under Home Department and forwarded to the Government.
