SHAMATOR, FEBRUARY 13 (MExN): To mark the 10th anniversary of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) scheme, a signature campaign was held at the SDO’s office in Shamator on February 12. The event was attended by officials from the World Bank, including Junko Onishi, Program Lead for Northeast Region and Hill States, and Deputy Project Director NECTAR, Avelu Ruho.
The campaign also saw participation from village functionaries under Chessore Subdivision and Shamator. The initiative aims to further promote the objectives of the BBBP scheme and encourage continued efforts toward empowering girls and ensuring their education and safety.
