Mon, August 16 (MExN): In commemoration of Independence Day, Mon based Shansham Organization in collaboration with Mon Users’ Network and Project Axshya-CHAI visited Drug Rehabilitation Centre run by Gospel Outreach Ministry at APMC, Mon.
The Centre, which was functioning under Mon Users’ Network, was temporarily handed over to Gospel Outreach Ministry as the latter could not manage it owing to other tasks, informed a press release from Joseph Chipa, Shansham organization.
Presently, there are 10 residents, mostly from Mon and Tizit area, undergoing treatment in the centre. The ministry’s primary focus is on spiritual wellbeing of an individual, hence their treatment concentrate mostly on prayer and counseling along with other regular programme, the release said. The organization donated some food items, toiletries and stationeries to the rehab centre.
