
DIMAPUR, JANUARY 5 (MExN): The Jalukie Students’ Union Nagaland (JSUN) successfully concluded its 60th Annual Session under the theme “Nature & Nurture: Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders” on January 4 and 5 at JSUN Central Park.
The event saw a compelling address by Rev. Dr. Mongzeung Mpom, who urged students not to settle for mediocrity when excellence is achievable. He emphasized that good is the enemy of best, highlighting the vital role of nature in human existence and the necessity of preserving and respecting it. Rev. Dr. Mpom also stressed that habits are the building blocks of success, advocating for disciplined routines, higher standards, and continuous growth. He reminded the audience that ambition without action is futile, and true success requires persistence, resilience, and a clear vision.
The program was inaugurated by Ariebe Hingleu and chaired by Kesuihakle. The session included the felicitation of HSLC and HSSLC merit candidates, showcasing the academic achievements of students. A special presentation was made by Pauram Mpom, and the Vote of Thanks was delivered by Ileukaibe.
Throughout the two-day event, participants engaged in interactive sessions, a nature walk, tree sapling plantation, and thought-provoking discussions.
