Dimapur, December 10 (MExN): The Ball Park, Nagaland in collaboration with Kingdom Stewards organised She Believes’ a five-day training camp from December 6 to 10 in Jalukie town.
With the mission to promote women’s football, the core focus of the camp was to introduce foundational basics, fitness, tactical insights to beginners, and to build team work. The camp was a huge success with a total turnout of 30 girls under the age of 15, stated a press release received here.
The Ball Park, Nagaland is the largest futsal in Nagaland which inaugurated in October 2022. It aims to host training camps and tournaments with dedicated time slots for girls. Kingdom Stewards is an active ministry with a major focus on sports.
“The long term goal of this collaboration is not only to provide a platform for women to play football but to encourage them to pursue the game as a career,” the release added.
