Er Viku L Achumi, first person from Shena Old village to have successfully cracked UPSC civil services examination was felicitated during a programme held in Kohima on June 6.
Kohima, June 8 (MExN): A felicitation programme for Er Viku L Achumi, first person from Shena Old village to have successfully cracked UPSC civil services examination, was held on June 6 at Molu-Ki, Kohima.
It was held under the banner of Shena Old Tughalomi Kuqhakulu (SOTK) and organized by Shena Old Union Kohima (SOUK) and hosted by Dr. Toiho Sema and Er Kahuli Sema (Engineer in Chief, NPWD).
In his short speech, Er Achumi shared his experience and preparation journey to crack the UPSC examination.
He stressed on the importance of hard work and sincerity in pursuit of one's dream and to keep God first in every step of life.
He attributed his success to the answered prayers of many devoted people and thanked his parents for their sacrifices and support.
The programme witnessed short speech from Er Kahuli Achumi, E-in-C, NPWD, Er Ghoshito Sumi, chairman SOTK and Pukhato Achumi (GB), Village Council Shena Old.
Thanksgiving and blessings was pronounced by SOBC pastor Rev. Tokishe Awomi.
The programme was chaired by SOUK Chairman, Tomugha Katty while vote of thanks was proposed by SOUK Chairman, Hushito Assumi.
