SHGs members from 20 VLOs of Sapheni BLF Satakha during the annual general meeting on January 29.
Satakha, January 30 (MExN): The Sapheni Block Level Federation under Satakha block conducted its 2nd Annual General Body Meeting-cum-celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, commemorating the 75th year of Indian Independence.
The meeting was conducted on January 29 at the Community Mobilised Training Centre and was attended by 97 Self-Help group members of 20 VLOs under the federation, according to a press release.
Block Development Officer (BDO) of RD Satakha Jimo K Jimo and other two speakers Inashe Tsuqu, Khukiye VCC and Aholi Zhimo, former President Sumi Totimi Hoho Satakha Unit graced the occasion.
On the occasion, guest speaker Jimo K Jimo is said to have spoken highly on women, their participation in society, activities, their power and being result-oriented to bring changes in this challenging era. He applauded the SHG women folks in aiding to the financial needs in their homes as well as to the community in general.
As per the release, the president of the Sapheni BLF welcomed the attendees while keynote address was delivered by Tolika Sema, Block Program Manager Satakha Block.
Audit of the BLF was presented by Vinili V, Vice President Sapheni BLF who furnished the income and expenditure from inception till December 31, 2021. Shiholi Yeptho, Secretary of Sapheni BLF briefed on the visioning plan and key achievements of FY 20-21 of the Sapheni BLF and also on the upcoming plans for the FY22-23, the release stated.
Meanwhile, it informed that messages on COVID Vaccination and COVID appropriate behaviour were shared by Rebika Achumi, Area Coordinator/ SISD, BMMU Satakha.
The official programme was followed by the indigenous games, competitions and exhibition on various products produced by the VLOs under the BLF.
