
Kohima, June 11 (MExN): There will be a complete shutdown of power supply to some parts of Wokha district on June 12 and 13, as well as Tseminyu district and some areas in Wokha on June 14 and 15.
The power shutdown, set from 9:30 AM to 5 PM on the mentioned dates, is to facilitate the relocation of 132 kV Towers along National Highway-2 in Longsa village, Wokha.
This will lead to the shutdown of 11kV Niropen & ITI in Wokha and 33kV Tseminyu, stated a notification from Kohima Transmission Division, Department of Power Nagaland.
Accordingly, the power supply to Niropen area under Wokha district will be affected on June 12 and 13, it said.
The June 14 and 15 shutdown will affect power supply to Tseminyu district and Longsa & Niropen areas, Niro Range and Totsu area under Wokha District, it added.
The department has urged consumers and the public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
