After winning India’s Got Talent the Shillong Chamber Choir will be making their first public performance at the “Bollywood Leitmotifs Also...” concert. Meghalaya Arts Society is organizing a concert titled “Bollywood Leitmotifs Also...” featuring The Shillong Chamber Choir, The Vienna Chamber Orchestra and DESHH (fusion band from Chennai) on October 28 and 29 at 7:00 pm at the U Soso Tham Auditorium, Shillong.

Why we have used the word ‘Leitmotifs’ is because the meaning of this word means musical references. So, ‘Bollywood Leitmotifs Also..’ means that our concert will have references ‘’quite a bit’’ from popular Bollywood tunes, but as it has become very much a signature of the Shillong Chamber Choir, these references or Leitmotifs will be portrayed in a style that is revamped. Along with these pieces, we will also be doing other genres of music, but the whole concert is programmed to suit the entire family. The Shillong Chamber Choir concert is an evening for all to enjoy, from the grandparents right down to the grand children. There will be a lot of light pieces from Musicals to Bollywood hits all rearranged and revamped for choir and orchestra.
