Shilpa Shetty is ‘petrified’ of her old films

Actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who has been part of the industry for more than two decades now, is not fond of watching her old films. In fact, the actor says that the way she looks in them scares her. “I get scared. I am petrified of my old films, barring a few. I have no idea why people showed me so much love. They have been forgiving and gracious,” says Shilpa, who has been in films such as Baazigar (1993), Pardesi Babu (1998), Rishtey (2002) and Phir Milenge (2004).   The actor says that she would also perform differently if she got to be part of those films now. “I feel if I did a film today I would approach it differently. Life teaches you so much more. I will wonder why I did a scene a certain way. It all comes with maturity. I joined the films when I was 17 and everyday has been a learning curve for me. I am still learning and I love it,” adds Shilpa, who is judging dance reality show Super Dancer.

The actor who was last seen in a song in her home production Dishkiyaoon (2014), says that she is ready to take on another project only if it’s interesting. “Once an actor always an actor. I would love to do something interesting, but it would have to be worth my time. I am busy with so many things. I have a business, I am the director in my companies so I have to be part of board meetings. School will soon begin for my son. I don’t know how I will make time for a film. But if there is something interesting enough for me, I will take it up,” she says.
