Band from Nagaland Abiogenesis performing at the Shilpi Utsav 2011 in Guwahati on 19th January. Shilp Utsav is celebrated every year in the Shilpgram premises at Guwahati to mark the foundation day of this premier cultural amphitheatre of the region. The 5th edition of Shilp Utsav was celebrated from January 15 to January 19 with folk and fusion dance and music performances plus a major highlight of this year’s 5-day cultural extravaganza was the handloom and handicraft mela. The festival winded up with performances from Loksangeet from Tripura, Wartlung from Assam and Abiogenesis from Nagaland.
