Dimapur, April 9 (MExN): The Dimapur Angling Competition 2017 organised by Dimapur District Anglers’ Association (DDAA) in collaboration with Musu Angling Club, Hoito village was successfully held on April 8 at Musu Angling Club. Shilu Aier emerged champion and received a cash prize of Rs. 30,000 along with certificate. Sujit Sarkar was placed second and walked away with a cash prize of Rs. 20,000 along with certificate. Lawrence Humtsoe had to be content in third position and received Rs. 10,000 as cash prize besides certificate. Lanutemsu Aier and Janal Ahmed came fourth and fifth respectively and were awarded with rods and reels. Mhonbemo Ngullie won both the categories of Biggest Catch and Biggest Katla and pocketed Rs. 5,000 from each of the two categories. Prizes were given by Akato Chophi, Proprietor of Musu Angling Club. Altogether 85 participants including from Mokokchung participated in the event.
