Siblings 'expelled' from Kohima Village

Kohima, July 8 (MExN): The Tsütuonuomia Youth Organisation (TYO) has “expelled” two brothers from the Kohima Village jurisdiction with immediate effect.

According to a press release from the TYO, one of the brothers, identified as Khone Lohe, was “found guilty” of stealing computers at GPS Lerümedi, T. Khel Model village, on July 1. The “culprit” had been residing with his elder brother at D. Khel.

The two brothers were asked to attend a meeting to settle the robbery case at T. Khel Community Hall on July 7 at 7 am but the accused and his brother failed to attend the meeting, the TYO press release informed.

“The lack and response to attend the said meeting by the culprits have greatly hurt the sentiments of T. Khel community, Kohima village,” it stated.

Thus, TYO with the consent and support of Kohima Village Youth Organisation (KVYO) on behalf of the T. Khel community and Kohima village “expelled” the two brothers from Kohima village jurisdiction, the release stated.

“If they are found within Kohima village jurisdiction and any unfortunate thing that may befall upon will not be our concern,” the youth organisation warned.
