Dimapur, February 20 (MExN): The Chairman and Managing Director of SIDBI, Sivasubramanian Ramann, along with his team, recently visited Espace in Dimapur, Nagaland to interact with local startups.
Emphasising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision to empower startups and MSMEs, SIDBI CMD Ramann highlighted the importance of creating job opportunities and fostering entrepreneurship for national development.
During his two-day visit, he officially launched the Swavalamban Entrepreneurship Cafe. This initiative aims to support entrepreneurs, incubators, and the government in building a stronger economy through entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on startups and MSMEs.
Atsung Sangtam from Educentre expressed gratitude for the support, and the event took place at the Espace building near the SBI Rangabahar Branch.
Ramann also noted that SIDBI’s support coincides with the Department of Industry and Commerce's efforts to strengthen the State's startup policy and collaborate closely with its five incubators.
