Sigma Voice Youth Conclave underway at Assam Royal Global University

Guwahati, September 26 (MExN): The inaugural Sigma Voice Youth Conclave 2024, organised by the Sigma Voice Club in collaboration with the North East Writers' Forum (NEWF), commenced today at Assam Royal Global University. 

The two-day event aims to engage young minds through discussions on topics relevant to the Northeast and beyond, according to a press release from the NEWF.

The first day featured a panel discussion titled "Diversity and Inclusion: Northeast Writing in English," which brought together prominent figures from the literary and cultural fields from the region such as Rashmi Narzary, Madhu Raghavendra, Aboli Wotsa, Dr. Subi Taba, and Nilotpal Gohain.

They shared their personal experiences, challenges, and insights while interacting with the students in a session moderated by Dr Pronami Bhattacharya, Assistant Professor in the English Department.

The day concluded with a cultural dance performance by the university's students, showcasing the vibrant cultures of the Northeast.
