DIMAPUR, JUNE 11 (MExN): The Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) is organizing a service on June 13, 2018 to commemorate the ninth year of the signing of the Covenant of Reconciliation (CoR) by Late Isak Chishi Swu, Late SS Khaplang and Brig (Retired) S. Singnya on behalf of their respective Naga political groups.
The commemoration service will be held at the Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo (DABA), Duncan Basti, Dimapur. The program will begin from 10 am onwards.
On this day, the FNR has invited Naga political groups to share words of affirming their commitment to the Covenant of Reconciliation. Furthermore, there will be personal testimonies by families affected by factional violence and young people sharing voices of hope. In this connection, the FNR on Monday issued a public invitation to members of the public, leaders of Naga political groups, Naga tribal organizations, students and youth organizations, women’s groups, civil society organizations, professionals, churches, media community and NLA legislators to attend the service.
