Silent procession against life attempt on retd officer

DIMAPUR, MAY 30 (MExN): Both the Kohima Ao Union and Kohima Watsu Mungdang has informed all Ao citizens of Kohima to participate in the Silent Procession on 1stJune, 2011 organised by Kohima Watsü Mungdang against the life attempt on Ms. Imtila Jamir by one Mr. Worshim Tangkhul and his accomplice on 27th May, 2011 at her residence at Kohima.
All employees (Government and Private) of the Ao tribe are requested to avail casual leave on 1st June, 2011 to participate in the said procession. All are directed to assemble at Classic Point near Red Cross Building, Kohima at 8:30 am, informed a press note issued by Dr N. Benjong Aier and Temsu Soyah, President and General Secretary respectively of the Kohima Ao Telongjem (KAT). The Kohima Ao Union also invited all peace loving citizens and well-wishers to extend their support and participate in the said procession.
The Watsü Mungdang Kohima Unit also issued a separate notification informing all Ao citizens of Kohima to participate in the Silent Procession. All the women of Ao tribe are directed to assemble at Classic Point near Red Cross Building, Kohima at 8:30 am in traditional clothes.
The Watsü Mungdang Kohima Unit also requested and invited all tribal women organisations to extend their support by participating in the said procession. This was stated in a press note issued by Dr Watikala and Atola Imchen, President and General Secretary respectively of the Watsu Kohima.
