Punglwa, OCTOBER 24 (MExN): Six cadets from Sainik School Punglwa (SSP) participated in athletic, drill, and cultural events during the first All India Sainik School National Games held at Sainik School Kunjpura, Haryana, from October 11 to 17.
SSP secured the third and first places in the drill and cultural events, respectively.
Upon their return, the cadets were felicitated during the school assembly by the Officiating Principal, Lt Col Leena Bajaj, informed a press release from the school.
Sainik schools in India are grouped into eight categories to encourage healthy competition among the schools.
SSP, placed in Group E, participated in the sporting and cultural events alongside selected cadets from other schools within the group, the release added.
