Tuensang, May 5 (MExN): The St. John Hr Sec School, Tuensang celebrated its Golden jubilee from April 21 to 23 at Tuensang town. During the event, Alumni Association SJHSS Tuensang organised a re-union with the theme ‘Way Forward’ on April 22 evening.
The formal session started with paying homage to departed friends by L. Sungmo Administrator, EMRS and invocation was pronounced by Bendangmongla Youth Pastor, CBL, Saksi. Welcome note was addressed by Rev. Fr. Johnson, followed by delightfully singing the school anthem by all, reflections was shared by Tsachola refreshing best old memories. Wapang IPS, IGP(R) Nagaland spoke on the theme of the day.
Speeches were also delivered by other senior and alumni members including O.T. Chingmak IAS, Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs, K.S. Anden NCS, Director DUDA, John Tsulise NCS, ADC Meluri and Nzano.
The event was blessed by the presence of dignitaries like Alem Jongshi NCS, DC, Tuensang, Vikhram Ezung NPS, SP, Tuensang, Commandant, 40th Assam Rifles and Sentiyanger IAS, Commissioner, Nagaland who is also an alumnus of the school and many more.
The evening session under the theme ‘Touch of the re-union’ was marked by the musical event filled with nostalgic melodies of the golden oldies of alumni with their ever sweet voices still having young touches, and jester by local artist Desi boys which were the most unforgettable moments making the re-union event a remarkable one.
