Dimapur, July 30 (MExN): The St Joseph University’s Department of Computer Science association ‘TEKNE CLUB’ conducted a webinar on Advanced Networking Concepts using CISCO Packet Tracer on July 29.
Resource person Dr M Suresh Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Information Technology, Sri Sai Ram Engineering College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu shared about CISCO Router commands, Packet tracer, OSI Routing Protocol, DHCP, NAT, and DNS.
He also pointed out the need to study certificate courses as these areas need specialization and encouraged the students to do the same before the completion of their studies.
The session was followed by a Q&A session where students interacted and were given an opportunity to clear all their doubts. The Head of the Department Dr S Pradeep Kumar Kenny delivered a special address where he thanked the management for enabling departments to conduct programmes for the benefit of the students from time to time.
Earlier, the programme started with an inaugural session where Sr Susaiyammal of II BCA invoked God’s blessing followed by a prayer song by Sr Johnsi Rani of II BCA.
Nezo Tetseo of II BCA welcomed the gathering and the event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Metsivikho Thepa of III BCA. The host of the event was Ronsiuo Enni of II BCA.
