SJU Physics Dept hosts national conference

Dimapur, October 28 (MExN): National conference was organized by Department of Physics, St. Joseph University (SJU) Dimapur on October 28. 

A press release by the University PRO, Fr Savariappan stated that Dr S Venugopal, Director, NIT-Nagaland was the chief guest.  He addressed and highlighted about smart materials and  motivated the students to create smart materials. 

The release added that Vice-Chancellor of St. Joseph University Dr D Gnanadurai, gave inaugural address and motivated the students while the Registrar of St. Joseph University, Dr. Robert Edwin Chester delivered key note address.

Felicitation address was given by Dr C Chelladurai, HOD, and Department of Physics. The highlight of the national conference included lectures on various topics on the theme - Smart Materials and its Characterization Techniques by various resource persons.
