Dimapur, February 13 (MExN): The Sukomi Kuqhakulu Dimapur (SKD) has expressed shock and sadness over what it termed the “heinous murder” of a woman, allegedly by her husband, Kughato Yeptho, on February 9 at Thilixu Village. The victim hailed from Sukomi, it said.
Stating that such a heinous act has not only cost an innocent life but also posed a threat to peace and harmony in society, the SKD further asserted that it is “unacceptable” and not “tolerable in any sense.”
Accordingly, it demanded that law enforcement authorities act efficiently and decisively to ensure that justice is delivered without delay and that the perpetrator is held accountable.
The SKD strongly condemns such heinous crimes and urges the concerned authorities to take decisive action to prevent such incidents in society, it added. It also conveyed its solidarity with the victim’s family and loved ones during this difficult time and reaffirmed its commitment to a safe and just society.
