Under the Skill Development Programme for Women an initiative of the Assam Rifle, six girls from various villages within the jurisdiction of Athibung will be undergoing basic handloom Training at Vahnu’s handloom from May 5 to June 2. Phalneivah Thonmsong, a certified trainer in handloom will train the six beneficiaries at her handloom unit.
