The All Sümi Students' Union (SKK) on Thursday began its educational tour-cum-health centre tour, visiting Government High School (Atoizu), Government High School (Apukito) and Primary Health Centre (Apukito) to interact with the institutions and assess ground realities.
The SKK team also held a joint coordination meeting with the Atoizu Town Council, discussing matters including the proposed upgradation of Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu (KPA) into a full-fledged engineering college, currently in the pipeline, along with other education and institutional development issues.
The tour aims to engage directly with educational and healthcare institutions, identify concerns and strengthen coordination with local stakeholders. The initiative will continue across Sümi-inhabited areas, covering various educational institutions and health centres in the coming days.
