ZUNHEBOTO, AUGUST 7 (MExN): The All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) today informed that it had covened a union and resolved to endore tha power exercised by the Speaker SKK dissolving the Executive Council of SKK (2022-2024) on July 23. A press release from Ninoto H Chophi, Speaker U/A SKK informed that the union assembly was attended by 13 out of 17 federating units.
The press release stated that the house also resolved to set up an SKK Advisory Board and nominated Hetoi Chishi, former President, SKK as its Convener and Abeto Shohe, former President, SKK as its Co Convener with 23 former SKK members. “The SKK union assembly was convened on August 3 following the union leaders as members,” it said.
It informed that in order to carry out the programmes and policies of SKK, the Working Committee has been formed with Kughato Achumi, President, WSSU as its Convener; Hoka Awomi as its Secretary and all federating units of SKK as members. The union assembly “unanimously passed the three resolutions and endorsed the Working Committee SKK and Advisory Board SKK to formulate programmes and policies for the restoration of the Executive Council,” the press release informed.
The Union Assembly Speaker meanwhile stated that “no individual or other organization should interfere and outstrip the Constitution of SKK or either illegitimately claim to be representing the office of All Sumi Students’ Union.”
