Dimapur, May 23 (MExN): Sumi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu (SKK) felicitated the successful candidates of HSLC, HSSLC and achievers 2016 at the felicitation programme held at Dimapur Sumi Baptist Church on May 21.
The programme was chaired by Dr. Major Mughavi Yeptho Tribunal SKK while Rev. Svitoshe Swu said the invocation. Sumi Hoho, former SKK officials and church leaders also attended the programme.
Guest of honour, Akito Zhimomi, Advocate Guahati high court, Kohima Banch who spoke on the occasion reminded that successful candidates the importance of having the right aims, as they have to face many new challenges and encouraged the students to work harder as there is no short-cut to achieve success. He also blessed the congregation with the words of God.
All the students were awarded with certificate and cash sponsored by Himato Zhimomi, Commissioner Secretary Work and Housing, Kikali Achumi who secured top1(HSSLC) recived cash award of Rs. 15000 sponsored by Khevishe Achumi former president, SKK and Rs. 10000, 5000 is rewarded to the toppers and subject toppers respectively.
SKK also the felicitated other achievers including Dr Elika Assumi in cultural studies, Lashili G Chishi Assistant professor (NPSC), Sukhalu Chishi EAC (NPSC), Aketo Chisho DSP (NPSC), Hotoshe Sumi Global Teacher Award Bangkok (Thailand) and Tokheho H Sumi for achieving Padmashiri award.
Rev. Hevukhu Achumi, Executive Secretary WSBAK concluded the programme with prayer.
