Dimapur, January 3 (MExN): The All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) has condemned the assault of its former president Zhevihe Sumi and his wife by some youths who claim themselves to be from Nihoto village on January 1 while his family was on there way back home after attending family picnic at 4th mile river near Referral hospital, Dimapur.
The union in a press note issued by its secretary, public relation Hetolu Yeptho and general secretary Mughato K Swu termed the act as coward and heartless on the part of those youth to assault a person while all section of people were celebrating New Year day with loved ones.
The union has urged the concern authority to take appropriate action on those youth involved in the incident as it pose a threat in the society even in the near future.
