Dimapur, August 22 (MExN): The All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) has strongly condemned the abduction and killing of Ameto Awomi of Yangziton (B) village by NNC (Accordist).
“It is very distasteful on the part of a group to commit such a dreadful crime when all the Nagas are yearning for peace and reconciliation,” stated the Union in a press note issued by its President Abeto L Shohe. The note also stated that it has termed the whole episode as “coward and uncivilized” which is beyond human toleration at any given situation and demanded befitting justice from the concerned authority. Moreover, it has conveyed its deepest sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
