Dimapur, January 3 (MExN): Slab Culvert constructed under MGNREGS intermediate Panchayat during 2010-2011 at Mhainamtsi Village, RD Block Peren, Peren district Nagaland was inaugurated on January 3, 2011 by VDB Secretary Mhainamtsi as chief guest along with VCC Deukwaram, VCC Mhainamtsi, VCMs and GBs.
A press note issued by Miucham, VCC Mhainamtsi village informed that the VDB Secretary, VCCs and GBs thank and appreciated the work implemented by the villagers and the concerned officers i,e. Project Director, Block Development Officer and Junior Engineer of RD Peren for successful implementation of the schemes for the welfare of the villagers. The speakers also mentioned in their speech about the construction of road widening, culverts, Agri-link road, GPS road, play ground leveling under MGNREGS and Waiting Shed under SGSY 2010-11 programme and appealed to the concern officers to continue their support in the near future.
