
Dimapur, March 24 (MExN): In light of Government’s order to contain and prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the state, the State Level Bankers' Committee (SLBC), Convener Nagaland and Regional Manager, State Bank of India, Regional Business Office, Dimapur stated that in all category of Bank branches identified for opening.
The following essential banking services will be made available:
• Cash deposits and cash withdrawals
• Cheque Clearance – presenting and accepting cheques for payments/transfers, etc.
• Remittances – Intra & Inter Bank Transfer of Funds- NEFT, RTGS
• Government Business
Some of the SBI branches identified for normal functioning are authorized branches for handling State Government business and these branches will be fully operational for Government business. All outsourced ATM Cash Replenishment Agencies (CRAs) will replenish cash at all important ATM sites will also ensure cash availability of own Bank branch managed ATMs.

Further, all precautionary measures for preventing the spread of COVID-19 in conformity with Government’s and Indian Bank’s Association (IBA) directives are in place.
“The instructions shall remain in force till further directives from Government of Nagaland,” stated a press release issued by Paogin Haokip, SLBC Convener/Assistant General Manager.
