DIMAPUR, JULY 23 (MExN): The Sendenyu Lojvü Students' Union (SLSU) held its felicitation program for HSLC and HSSLC successful candidates on July 22 at Thongsünyu Village Council Hall.
According to a press release, Dr. Gwalozu Thong, Joint Director, Health and Family Welfare who was the guest speaker in his address urged upon the students to strive and labor in silence and always keep a competitive mindset amongst their peers. Further, he added that one must always place God first in everything and also abstain from indulging in immoral anti-social activities in order to lead an exemplary and a successful life.
Speech on behalf of the passed out students was delivered by Martha Thong.
Short speeches were presented by representatives of village council and mothers' association from all four villages and Sendenyu youth organisation. The program was chaired by Abi Kent, treasurer, SLSU and welcome note delivered by Shozenlo Seb, vice president, SLSU.
Statistical report was given by Agwale bukh, assistant statistical secretary while the vote of thanks was conveyed by Hosea Khing, assistant general secretary, SLSU.
Altogether, 32 successful candidates in the HSLC and HSSLC examination 2023 were felicitated.
