Involved in so many activities concentrated on social change, Fingerprint-Design & Events had been functioning from the home of its founding head Hongba Phom. Today, the team inaugurated its office located at Duncan Basti, Dimapur.
The head of Fingerprints is somebody who believes in giving back to his people. When he had first begun Fingerprint campaigns he had remarked, “A small and humble start for a giant change”. Speaking at the programme, Hongba stated, “There have been many visible changes since we started. We have been successful in whatever events we have organized. But I want to let everyone know that whatever I’ve earned till now, I’ve invested back to the campaigns. Money is just a means to survive. It’s definitely important but what’s important is to give back.” He also expressed gratitude to family, friends and Nagaland media for supporting Fingerprints campaigns and initiatives.
Rev. Dr. Anjo Keikung who solemnized the inaugural programme expressed his admiration for the Fingerprint team. He also shared some guiding principle which he said all Nagas should apply in their lives. Firstly, he underscored the principle of hard work and that young Nagas should no longer be a burden to their parents or their society. Secondly, he spoke about how we should learn to share ‘space’ with others stating, “We should work together, earn together and help each other”. He addressed this to the crowd of musicians, entrepreneurs and artists at the launch today,
The Fingerprint office also houses and markets the products of “Country Craft”, a brand synonymous for handicrafts of Nagaland. It also displays and markets photographs of Mongsen Buchem, Fingerprint team member and a talented professional photographer.
