Members of the SMC Eco Club undertaking an awareness campaign to make Dimapur a litter free city.
DIMAPUR, MARCH 1 (MExN): Under the initiative of Dimapur municipal council, the Eco Club of Sakus Mission College is undertaking an awareness campaign to make Dimapur a litter free city.
With 44 active members, the club has taken up the task to pick up litter, put the waste in the proper place, ask the shop owners to install bins, educate defaulters etc, along the stretch of Nyamo Lotha road for about a month.
The club, in a press release today, asked the people of Dimapur to be sensible towards waste management and cleanliness. The club further acknowledged the support rendered by the DMC, the college authority and others who were “kind” during this awareness drive.
