Sümi Youth Organisation officially launched

Zunheboto, March 27 (MExN): A new organisation called the Sümi Youth Organisation (SYO) was launched on March 27 in Zunheboto.  

The SYO was officially launched by the Sümi Hoho President, I Nikheto Jimomi, who also unveiled the SYO office bearers at Sümi Hoho Ki, Zunheboto.

The new organisation will be headed by Hikavi H Kinimi as President, supported by Hukaito H Zhimomi as Vice President, Bokalu V Zhimomi as General Secretary, and Enoch Wotsa as Finance Secretary.

At the launching chaired by the Sümi Hoho General Secretary Dr Vihuto Asumi, a prayer of blessings was offered by the Executive Secretary of Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Küqhakulu, Rev Kughato Chophi.

Speeches were delivered by Sümi Hoho Advisor Hekhushe Shikhu, Western Sümi Youth Front President Atokiho Swu, and Former Sümi Hoho Vice President Zhevihe Sumi while a special song was presented by Nogheli Chipiku.

Earlier, a felicitation ceremony honouring the newly elected office bearers of the Sümi Kükami Hoho and the Sümi Kiphimi Küqhakulu was held.

Sümi Hoho Vice President Hokishe Kiba chaired the programme while President Jimomi delivered greetings. SKH President Hetoho S Zhimomi and SKK President Gihuka Zhimomi also address the felicitation ceremony. 

The Pastor of Sümi Baptist Church Zunheboto, Dr Hutton Sumi, meanwhile, offered prayers for the newly elected members, invoking blessings in their future endeavours, stated a press release from the Sumi Hoho.
