He encouraged the people to start thinking about the needs of the people and try to deliver it as a contributing citizen. He also encouraged the students in particular to think beyond text book and government jobs so as to make “our” society progressive and prosperous.
Tali Pongen highlighted about the rights and responsibilities of the Village Council and Village Development Board. He also brought awareness about the various schemes and flagship programs meant for the villagers that are sponsored by the central government so as to enable them to avail and use it judiciously.
Bendang Yaden spoke about the importance and benefit of the Cooperative Movement with particular reference to social life in Naga society. He encouraged the villagers to organize themselves in collective farming and avail assistance from the financing institutions through Cooperatives department.
