KOHIMA, JULY 3 (MExN): The 1st phase Social Audit district level public hearing under MGNREGA and PMAY-G for Kohima and Tseminyu District of Chiephobozou and Chunlikha Blocks was held on July 2 at DPDB Conference hall, Kohima. Kevilhoubei-ü, Project Director cum DPC, DRDA, Kohima was the chairperson for the hearing.
A DIPR report informed that Imtitoshi I Jamir, Director, NSSAA, SAU, Nagaland gave the introduction on Social Audit. He mentioned that the implementation of the scheme should have transparency and accountability. Social Audit findings were presented by Imsusenla Longchar, DRP and Keneiseü Sopfü BRP of NSSAA, SAU, Nagaland.
Twenty five (25) villages from these two blocks were audited. The programme concluded with reading out village wise Gram Sabha resolution and vote of thanks by the chairperson.
