The Sodexo Hotel Management Food & Beverage (F&B) training programme was officially launched at the Skill Development Centre in Tchuyiro Colony, Wokha on March 17. 

The inauguration ceremony began with an invocation and dedication prayer led by Myingthungo Asso, Pastor of the Police Baptist Church, Wokha. Yanrenthung Humtsoe, Chairman of the MSME Promotion Council of India for Wokha District, marked the occasion by cutting the ribbon to officially open the training centre.

During his address, Yanrenthung Humtsoe emphasised the opportunities within the hospitality industry, stating, “The hospitality industry is one where there is no retirement, as long as the person is willing to work. Adaptability to new environments is one of the challenges that everyone must face. As each individual becomes more efficient, the possibility of better job opportunities and promotions becomes more apparent.”

Orenpomo Humtsoe, District Planning Officer, also encouraged the trainees to remain hardworking and diligent, stressing that success would be the result of their perseverance.

Wokhathung Tsopoe, Chairman of Tchuyiro Colony, praised the Team Metamorphosis for bringing the training programme to the area, noting its positive impact on the community. He further urged the trainees to make the most of the opportunity, but cautioned that any individual not fully committed should consider stepping down to avoid causing disruption to the group.

Dr Thungdemo Kyong, Chief of Team Metamorphosis, welcomed the gathering and provided a comprehensive presentation on Sodexo, the company facilitating the training. He outlined the vast opportunities available to trainees who are determined and dedicated to the programme.

Zuchanthung Ezung, Commissioner of Bharat Scouts Wokha District, expressed gratitude to the invitees and well-wishers, while Achanbeni Kikon, Secretary General of Team Metamorphosis, and Wonchio Odyuo, Finance & Accounts Head, also contributed to the brief programme.
