Dimapur, March 25 (MExN): UNNATI UNXT – a 30-day, 90 contact hours soft skills training programme at Dimapur Government College (DGC) culminated with a valedictory session on March 25. The training started on February 6.

DGC Media & Publicity Cell in a press release stated that the first batch of 65 students (BA/B.Com 6th Semester) completed the soft skills training under the guidance of ‘Change Makers’ and also conscientise the students on value education which adds value to all aspects of life and making one a better human being. 

The Government of Nagaland had signed MoU with UNNATI- an NGO based in Bengaluru and it was inaugurated by Chief Secretary, J Alam on January 12, 2023 at Kohima.

Mention may be made that DGC is being recognised as a SkilsHub under the National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC), and the Skill Development Committee of the College through such initiatives have been making impactful inroads and empowering the lives of the students.
