Dimapur, February 9 (MExN): The Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) today alleged that some government officials/employees were operating official works outside office premises “defying the bandh called on the functioning of any governmental activities.”
“It has been learnt from reliable sources,” AYO Media Cell said in a press note adding that any government officials operating official works or carrying out any governmental activities at their residence or any other venues will “solely be held responsible for any consequences.”
The AYO further reminded that the restriction for government vehicles is indefinite.
“Any government vehicles plying before or after the purview of the bandh called strictly for office hours will be doing so at their own risk and AYO will not be held responsible for any unprecedented incidents.”
According to AYO, there were currently six confiscated six government vehicles under the custody. Some of them were caught plying after 3 pm defying the bandh.
