Sonam Ongmu Bhutia (23) from mangan North Sikkim has won the 9th Angels Mega Model Hunt Northeast 2016,in an event held in Dimapur Nagaland on November 23 event style and managed by Get Gorgeous Society Nagaland. Aren Imsong from Kohima Nagaland Himadri Bhuyan from Guhwati Assam won the 1st and 2nd Runner-up Respectively. Sonam is currently working as a junior engineer under Rural Management and Development Department Government of Sikkim. The subtitles winners were Most Photogenic Miss Arenla Imsong, Best Catwalk Manalisa Gogoi, Most Gorgeopus Meghana Christine Meghalaya, Best Body Vilika Shohe, Beautiful Skin Miss Longsola Sangatam. Apart from the Title, the winner won cash prize, one month modeling training, professional Portfolio Photo shoot by CAV Modeling School Guhwati, Feature in a Magazine of Good times of Northeast and walk the ramp in a fashion shows in other part of India. The judges were Darshana Sengupta Founder & Organizer of Women power car rally NE, Throngli Sangtam Founder & Managing Director CTS Group & LS Regalien, Cham Thai Director NEFA and Former Supermodel and Amen Pongen President Get Gorgeous Society Nagaland.
