School of Nursing District Hospital Dimapur conducted its 9th lamp lighting and oath taking ceremony on April 12.
Dimapur, April 12 (MExN): The School of Nursing District Hospital Dimapur (SON.DHD) conducted its 9th lamp lighting and oath taking ceremony on April 12.
The occasion was graced by Dr Sentinaro Ao, Deputy Director (Nsg) DoH&FW Registrar NNC. She encouraged the nursing students to see the patients beyond their exterior appearance and to be humble.
Dr Sakuyuba Imchen, Senior Specialist DHD encouraged the nursing students to be confident and do their work diligently, to be extra cautious and if in doubt to always ask their supervisor or seniors. Delegates from different nursing school and colleges attended the programme.
Dr Christy Simpson, Principal, College of Nursing advised the nursing students to treat all patients equally with compassion and dignity.
A press release received here stated that the lamp lighting & oath taking was presided by Bendangnaro, Principal SON.DHD and Rev Yhunlo Thong, Chaplain Medical Fellowship DHD invokes God’s blessing. The programme was chaired by Vive S Chishi Nursing Tutor, SON.DHD.
