The Sümi Officers’ Union Dimapur (SOUD) elected a new team of office bearers for the tenure 2024-25. The new team took over the reins at the SOUD General Conference 2024 held at the Western Sumi Hoho office in Chekiye village, on February 10, where I Himato Zhimomi, Principal Secretary, Geology & Mining and New & Renewable Energy, was the guest of honour.
The new SOUD team will be led by Ruth Muru as President and Kitoho Michael as General Secretary. Rev Dr Hokheto Chophy, Pastor of Thilixu Baptist Church pronounced the dedicatory prayer for the new team of office bearers, including an 8-member Executive Council.
