Jakhama, October 9 (MExN): Southern Angami Catholic Juniors’ Association’s (SACJA) camp was held under the banner of ‘Have faith in God’ (Mark 11:22) at Mary Help of Christians Church, Jakhama from October 7–9 with Reverend Father Jerome Veigas SJ, Parish Priest as main celebrant. It was organised by Southern Angami Catholic Youth Association (SACYA).
A press release informed that the following resource persons spoke on their respective topics: Rev. Vilezo George - Religious life and the Eucharist; Sister Neiketunuo Catherine Thakro, Vocation Promotor, Tabor Provincialate, Dimapur - The life for seminarian; Khrievino Elizabeth - Have faith in God; Zhoto Stephen - Holy life; Tosovi Philip - The love of Mother Mary.
During the camp, singing and quiz competitions were held. The ‘best discipline’ award was given to Kidima Catholic Juniors’ Association.
Prizes to the winners were given away by Reverend Father Victor D’Mello SJ, Principal of Loyola Higher Secondary School, Jakhama. A total of 390 juniors from different villages of Southern Angami Catholic churches took part in the camp.
