ZUNHEBOTO, JANUARY 29 (MExN): The Sumi Officers’ Union Zunheboto (SOUZ) has strongly condemned the January 24 incident in which an officer's vehicle from the Forest Department was fired upon while parked at the compound of the DFO’s office in Zunheboto.
In a statement, the SOUZ described the act as disgraceful and unequivocally stated that such behavior has no place in a civilized, law-abiding society. The Union emphasized the need for stern legal action to prevent similar incidents in the future and to foster a secure working environment for all government employees.
The SOUZ further reaffirmed its firm stance against any form of unwarranted violence directed at government officials in Zunheboto district.
