Cleanliness drive unfolds in one the 5 divisions of NF Railway
Maligaon, October 2 (MExN): As a mark of respect to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his 148th birth anniversary as well as on the conclusion of the fortnight long Swachchta Hi Seva campaign, a cleanliness drive was undertaken today over all the five Divisions of N.F. Railway i.e. Katihar, Alipurduar, Rangia, Lumding & Tinsukia.
The drive was part of the countrywide ‘Swachh Bharat’ campaign being organised throughout Indian Railways involving the officers and employees.
Chahatey Ram, General Manager, N.F. Railway, urged the Railway officers and employees to make endeavour towards making their office cleanest amongst any of the office premises of Guwahati. He further requested that every staff and officers should take this campaign as a challenge and try their best to make the campaign a successful. He reminded that it is the collective responsibility of everyone to keep our Nation clean.

The ‘Swachh Bharat’ campaign within the Railway premises covers all the stations, office campus, Railway colonies so as to present these areas as ideal areas before the country as well as in the world.
