DIMAPUR, MARCH 30 (MExN): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has informed it will conduct a special examination on Business Studies subject in view of 3 repeaters informing the board that they could not appear the exams on March 18.
The special examination for Business Studies will be conducted on April 5 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Examination centers will be made known by 11:00 am on April 4. Centre Superintendents and Heads of Institutions have been requested to disseminate this information at the earliest.
“This has arisen probably due to the fact that on January 19, 2023, the Board shared the routines in the district WhatsApp groups but on having detected an error where 2 subjects placed on March 18, 2023 could be opted by a candidate, the routines were immediately withdrawn within 30 minutes and a corrected routine was shared,” the NBSE said.
It however noted that “social media being so fast and active, some candidates were in possession of the old routines which prevented them to appear the Business Studies subject on the said day.
The NBSE said that the special exam will be conducted “so that this group of students is not left out.” Only those candidates who could not appear are eligible for this special examination, it added. It informed this category of students to immediately inform the Board if they are willing to appear at nagaboard@gmail.com on or before April 3.
