Mokokchung, August 8 (DIPR): The monthly meeting of Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board was held on August 8 at DC’s Conference Hall, Mokokchung. Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairmen DPDB Mokokchung, Lithrongla G. Chishi chaired the meeting.
The House discussed the agenda on Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT) - how to make it functional and operational. To which the House decided to hold a special meeting with the private bus owners, Taxi Drivers Union, Land Owners and department Officials before the next DPDB meeting, so as to finalize the matter in the next meeting.
The House approved and forwarded to the Government for the Up-gradation of GMS Longkhum to GHS Longkhum. DIS, Mokokchung also informed the House that there are 6 (six) feeding schools under GMS Longkhum. Moreover, he said that infrastructure was ready for the Up-gradation. The Board members also discussed about organizing a fund drive sought by Care and Support Society, Mokokchung which the House approved to do it by organizing such as sports meet, talent presentation etc. Application for registration of Rubber Planters (Tzudikong Town) was forwarded to the concern department and EAC Tuli for rectification and to be discussed in the next DPDB meeting. Power point presentation will be given by Superintendent of Police, Mokokchung in the next DPDB meeting.
