
DIMAPUR, JANUARY 21 (MExN): The Shree Hanuman Mandir Committee Dimapur has informed that in view of the 'Pran Pratistha' (consecration ceremony) of Ram Lalla at Ayodhaya on January 22, Dimapur Shree Hanuman Mandir Committee has chalked out a special programme.
A press release from the committee informed that there would be prayers, singing of hymns and offering of 'churma', laddo; 'chhappan bhog' etc. For the first time in Dimapur, Shree Hanuman Mandir Committee will take a pledge of 1,25,000 Hanuman Chalisa. “People will take their pledge and contribute and became partakers of the virtue Havan and Maha Prasad and Bhandara on completion of 1,25,000 lessons,” it stated.
Prayers and aarati will be done at 11:15 am. Live telecast of the consecration ceremony from Ayodhaya in the Durga Mandir Hall will be from 11:30 am onwards. Durga Mandir Sundarkand and Sakha Mandal will arrange feast at 1:30 pm. Sundarkand will be from 6:30 pm onwards followed by lighting of 1,100 diyas in the temple.
The committee informed that all members should come wearing saffron chola, white pajama (men), saffron or red saree (women). All members have been requested to close their businesses on the day till 2:00 pm and offer prayers and distribute sweets in the temple and at their homes.
On the night of January 22, they have been asked to light as many lamps as possible and install lights in the shop at home.
“After about 500 years, in this Kaliyuga, Ramlala's full birth (Pran Pratishtha is taking place) is taking place in Ayodhya, let us all together start the Ram Diwali of Kaliyuga,” it added.
