Special rail reservation counter for Ukraine returnees at IGI Airport

New Delhi, March 2 (MExN): A special rail reservation counter has been set up at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi to facilitate the onward journey of the returnees to their hometowns.

According to a press release received on Wednesday, the counter has been set up to assist Indian nationals and students who were evacuated from Ukraine through the Union Government’s ‘Operation Ganga.’ 

The release stated that Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnav who received the students at the IGI Airport on Tuesday night, assured them of all assistance from the Government of India and every Indian in Ukraine would return home safely. The parents of the students expressed immense gratitude to the Government for safely bringing back their wards, it added.
